WHO AM I

NICE TO MEET YOU

Hi, I’m just a regular guy who somehow ended up keeping the heart of massive ships beating—with a wrench in one hand and a prayer in the other.

By trade, I’m a marine engineer—equally at home elbow-deep in engine grease or sketching out a sleek LNG carrier on a design board. I like to think of myself as someone who can fix a ship with a hammer… and then turn around and design one that (hopefully) doesn’t need fixing.

When I’m not out at sea or buried in blueprints, I moonlight as a writer and filmmaker—dabbling in stories that stretch from the mysterious to the meaningful. I also penned a book on yoga called 7 Colours of Niji Yoga—a quirky little journey through breath, balance, and the occasional existential crisis.

There’s more to come. Probably. Unless I get distracted by another ship or script.

UPCOMING PROJECTS

WHAT’S NEXT

Plenty of irons in the fire—most of them slightly overheating.

I’m currently working on designing the next generation of ships powered by alternative fuels. Cleaner, greener, and (fingers crossed) less temperamental than the old beasts I’ve wrangled in the past.

On the side, I’m chipping away at a novel or two—because what’s life without the occasional plot twist? I also post regular blogs where I try to make sense of the world as I see it: sometimes serious, often sarcastic, always slightly off-centre.

And if the stars align (or at least the budget), I hope to bring a film or two to life. Probably something strange, stirring, or just stubbornly indie.

Stay tuned. Or don’t. I’ll be here either way—typing, sketching, building, dreaming.
